Sammy Butler, 49, of Tiptonville passed away Saturday morning, August 9, 2025, at his home. He was former resident of Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Family and friends will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Sammy was born June 25, 1976, in Union City, son of the late Jimmy Dale and Gail Ann (Pickard) Butler. He married Kimberly Renee (Sexton) Butler March 1, 2013. Sammy was a tattoo artist.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Butler of Tiptonville; three daughters, Alexis Faith Butler of Union City, Hailey Gail Butler of Jackson and Emily Renee Butler of Tiptonville; two sons, Michael Dominic Butler of Union City and James Franklin Butler of Tiptonville; two brothers, Jimmy Lynn Butler and wife Stephanie and Johnny Butler and wife Misty all of Martin; four grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Titan.
