James Ryan Kuykendall, 45, of Union City passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 9, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ron Gray will officiate. Burial will be held at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Ryan was born September 2, 1977, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He married Lori (Bolin) Kuykendall August 6, 2015. She survives. Ryan was a United States Army veteran and served two years in The Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery. He was a talented tattoo artist and enjoyed woodworking.

He is also survived by his mother, Paula Fry of Cabot, Arkansas; his father and stepmother, Jim and Vickie Kuykendall of Mineral Springs, Arkansas; his daughter, Olivia Lynch (Curt) of Martin; his son, Alex Kuykendall (Lena Morris) of Martin; his stepdaughter, Kassidi Patterson of Union City; his stepson, Noah Patterson of Union City; his grandmother, Mildred Cross of North Little Rock, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Everleigh Ruby, Eli Ruby and Nicholas Ruby all of Union City; three sisters, Jennifer Jones of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Carroll Elam (Jonathan) of Union City and Katie Daugherty (Jonathan) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; and two brothers, Marc Kuykendall (Kate) of Van Buren, Arkansas and Tyler Kuykendall (Brittany) of Mineral Springs, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Fry; and his grandparents, Billy Roy Lasiter and O.G. and Elizabeth Kuykendall.
