Mrs. Ruthie Lee (Johnson) Wyatt, 85, of Dresden passed away 5:40 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2015, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Nate Horton will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Rick Legons, James Hammonds, Cameron Bynum, Cayson Bynum, David Brooks and Bobby Workman.

Mrs. Wyatt was born April 17, 1930 in District #7 near Rives and had also lived in Union City for several years prior to moving to Dresden in 1974. Mrs. Wyatt married Billy Wyatt, Sr. July 20, 1968. He died September 3, 2007. She had been employed at the former Lear Siegler in Union City and the former Arrow Aluminum in Martin. Mrs. Wyatt was a member of Siloam Baptist Church near Dresden.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patria Ann and Mickey Dunlap of Martin; two sons and one daughter-in-law, James Michael Cook of Union City and Dennis Ray and Kimmy Cook of Dresden; two step sons and their spouses, Bobby and Wanda Wyatt of Troy and Billy and Juanita Wyatt of South Fulton; eight grandchildren; Mickey P. Dunlap and Clorissa Wyatt both of Union City, Sara L. Bynum of Columbia, Cassie Cook and Denise Cook both of Dresden, Angie Kendall of Hornbeak, and Regina VanCleave and Serena Blanton both of Martin; and nine great grandchildren, Cody Foust, Cameron Bynum, Caysen Bynum, Jacob Blanton, Emma Blanton, Lyndsey VanCleave and Mason VanCleave all of Martin and Shelby Kendall of Murfreesboro and Parker Kendall of Hornbeak.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Sidney Johnson and Velma Clara (Lynn) Johnson Williams; the father of her children, James Roy Cook; and one son, Paul Thomas Cook.
