Ms. Margie Ruth Mansfield, 90, of Union City passed away 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at AHC Dyersburg.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ruth was born October 2, 1930, in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of the late Wesley and Bea (Watson) Shelton. She drove a school bus for the Fulton County School District for many years and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Woods (Luke) of Union City; five grandchildren, Chad Piatt (Elaine) of Martin, Clint Piatt of Chattanooga, Courtney Blackwell (Jeremy) of Union City, Eric Mansfield (Kaylee) of Springhill and Colt Mansfield (Ashley) of Springhill; fifteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson; one sister, Judy McCoy (David) of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Mansfield; three brothers, Neil Shelton, Jerry Shelton and Bobby Shelton; one her sister, Selene Shelton.
