Russell E. Bing, 69, of Union City passed away 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chip Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Russell was born January 10, 1953, in Lake County, son of the late Ernest Franklin and Bessie Mae Bing. He married Sandra (Wellons) Bing January 26, 2002. She survives.

He is also survived by one daughter, Brandi O'Keeffe of Union City; one son, Jamie Bing (Tammy) of Kenton; Jessica Hamil of Martin; two sisters, Geraldine Easley (Charles) and Anita Moore all of Kenton; two brothers, Malcolm Bing of Union City and Walter Bing (Pam) of Woodland Mills; five grandchildren, Alex O'Keeffe of Union City, Marie Williamson (Jo Jo) of Kenton, Sara Smith (Johnny) of Ripley, Noah Bing (Lexus) of Paris and Dena Bing; and nine great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Bing; and four brothers, Delbert Bing, Elbert Bing, Haywood Bing and Gary Bing.
