Heaven is having a party rejoicing as another child has come home.

He was born on February 7, 1949, in Jackson, Michigan, as a miracle baby to Richard and Flora Mae (Collins) Pollock. He married Susie Riddle on October 14, 1972 in Jackson.

Russ worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber company for thirty three years in Jackson, Michigan and Union City, Tennessee as a tire builder.

He was of the Methodist faith. Russ worked nine years in the church bus ministry, taught Sunday School, was Men's Director, usher, choir member and board member. Russ started the bible study group at Goodyear in Union City. He kept a small journal of prayer requests and was a great prayer warrior.

Russ' favorite hobby was watching cowboy shows.

He is survived by his wife of forty eight years, Susan "Susie" Riddle Pollock of Union City; two sons, Ron (Marci) Pollock of Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida and Chris Pollock of Knoxville; two daughters, Stephanie (Mike Martin) Griffin of Hazleton, Indiana and Sarah (Brad) Scheland of Union City; eleven precious grandchildren, Paige Pollock, Brandon (Aidana Almazova) Pollock, Zachary Griffin, Kylie Warner, Samantha Scheland, Brooke Scheland, Candace Scheland, Ben Croisdale, Gregory Croisdale, Clara Croisdale and Joey Croisdale; one brother, Dennis Pollock of Jackson, Michigan; one sister, Diana Powell of Jackson, Michigan; in-laws, Brenda Jones, Pat Riddle, Wanda Riddle, Terry and Jan Riddle; and many loving nephews and nieces.
