Ruel Mobbs' Obituary
Ruel Lynn Mobbs, 59, of Union City passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Virgil Hanks will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
Mr. Mobbs was born December 11, 1956, in Pontiac, Michigan, son of the late William "Joe" Mobbs and the late Mary (Wade) Mobbs Brandon. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church near Obion.
He is survived by two daughters, Taira Mobbs of Union City and Jessica Irvan of Wingo, Kentucky; three sisters, Sandra (Ricky) Cole and Teresa Harris all of Union City and Reba (Jerry) Smyth of Atkins, Arkansas; one brother, Danny (Ann) Mobbs of Holly, Michigan; four grandchildren, Resi Wegner and Jorden Wegner both of Greenfield and Michael Irvan, Jr. and Rebecca Irvan both of Wingo, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Ruel Mobbs, Jr.
