Obituary

Mr. Rudy Lee Lemon, 74, of Union City passed away 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.  Brother Chip Davis will officiate. Burial will follow at East View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Terry Siglow, Ernie Siglow, Scott Norris, Kelly Walker, Brian Eaves and Cody Thomason.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Siglow, Lance Norris and Casey Gilliam.

Rudy was born March 24, 1949, in Burna, Kentucky, son of the late Ollie and Edith (Swinford) Lemon.  He married Cathie (Siglow) Lemon November 14, 1987.  She survives.  He worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in maintenance for 36 years and was a member of Lake Road Baptist Church.  Rudy loved hunting, fishing and golfing.

He is also survived by one daughter, Tabitha Norris (Scott) of Martin; two sons, Stuart Lemon of South Fulton and Dave Marlar (April) of Henderson; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Weber of Indianapolis, Indiana and Velda Henson (Don) of Ledbetter, Kentucky; two brothers, Larry Lemon (Cathy) of La Porte, Indiana and Harold Lemon (Betty) of Golconda, Illinois.

He was also preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.
