Obituary

Mrs. Rose Marie (Callison) Worthy, 71, of Union City died 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. Judd Mowery will officiate. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Friday.

Mrs. Worthy was born February 28, 1942, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late Harry Wesley and Jessie Marie (Adams) Callison. She had been employed at the former American Metal, the former Biltmore Motel and the former Little Dixie all in Union City. Mrs. Worthy was a member of Sanders Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Ratonya Worthy of Union City; her son, Robert Wade of Greenfield; three sisters, Dora Badger of Tiptonville, Mable Badalamenti of Chicago, Illionis and Martha Hardy of St. Louis, Missouri; two brothers, Floyd Callison of Fulton, Kentucky and J.C. Adams of Trimble; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three sons, Robbie Doyle Lawrence, Ricky Lynn Lawrence and Randall Wesley Lawrence; and one brother, Harry Neil Callison.
