Mrs. Rose Marie Andreozzi, 78, of Union City went to be with her Lord at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2018.
Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Father Chuck McMillen will officiate. Burial will follow in Barrington Cemetery in Barrington, Rhode Island at a later date.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Rose was born October 3, 1939, in Owego, New York, daughter of the late Frank and Virginia (Zello) Whitmore. She married Raymond Andreozzi June 29, 1974. He passed away December 12, 1988. She was an interviewer for the State of Tennessee unemployment office in Union City and she owned and operated Andreozzi Florist and Greenhouses with her husband, Raymond until he passed away in 1988. She continued to operate the florist shop until 1998. She was also a member of the St. James Episcopal Church in Union City.
She is survived by four sons, David and Wendy Wharton of Union City, Robert Wharton of Newbern, Tn., Henry Wharton of West Warwick, Rhode Island and Raymond Andreozzi of Providence, Rhode Island; two brothers, Ronald Belair of Essex Junction, Vermont and Donald Belair of Fresno, California; nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Whitmore and Edward Whitmore.
