Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak. Brother Ray King will officiate. There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Keaton was born January 2, 1921, in Samburg, son of the late James Dee and Effie Irene (Davis) Keaton. He was a graduate of the former Hornbeak High School and served in the United States Army during World War II. He retired after thirty fives years of service with Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois. Mr. Keaton was a 32nd degree Mason with the El Paso Masonic Lodge for over fifty years. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion both in El Paso. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by his cousin and his wife, Claude and Jane Shaw of Winchester, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Morgan.
