Mr. Ronald Dwight "Ron" Petrie, 75, of Union City passed away 12:30 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto in Southaven, Mississippi.

Memorial services will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Tommy Hall will officiate and Pastor Gary Dock and Bob Gorton will be speaking.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the hour of services Monday.

Ron was born December 26, 1944, in Cunningham, Kentucky, son of the late Robert Lee and Dolly (Partin) Petrie. He married Ellen (Roe) Petrie June 24, 1978. She survives. Ron had been employed at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Griffin Industries. He attended First Assembly of God in Union City. Ron had served in the United States Army.

He is also survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Elizabeth and Chris McDaniel of Greenfield, Olivia Petrie of Union City and Kirstlen Petrie of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Sam Petrie of Union City; two grandchildren, Carson Stover and Journee McDaniel both of Greenfield; and one sister, Nancy Owens, of Clinton, Kentucky.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Petrie and Garth Petrie.
