Obituary

James "Rodney" Quinn, 59, of the Shawtown community passed away 11:36 a.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ron Gray will officiate. Burial will follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Puckett, Wayne Schmidt, Kenneth Quinn, Kenny Brewer, Sr. and Kenny Brewer, Jr.

Rodney was born August 1, 1961, in Tiptonville, son of Dennis Quinn of the Shawtown community and the late Joyce Dale (LaMastus) Quinn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of Bible Baptist Church in Union City. He was also a truck driver.

He is also survived by one daughter, Falon Quinn (Taylor Puckett) of Martin; one son, James Quinn (Jan Holcomb) of Troy; one granddaughter, Ariel Bea Puckett of Martin; one brother, Edward Quinn of South Fulton; and two sisters, Kathy Cloar (Bennie) Rives and Belinda Hill of South Fulton.
