Rodney Lynn Parker, 64, of Martin passed away 11:30 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024, at his home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. John Lowrance will officiate. Burial will be held at Murray Memorial Gardens in Murray, Kentucky at a later date.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

Rodney was born June 11, 1960, in Murray, Kentucky, son of the late Dr. Rev. Charles Lynn Parker and the late Darrylin (Treas) Parker. He was a 1978 graduate of Obion County Central High School where he played football and was a member of the FFA. Rodney was a truck driver and of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by one daughter, Shonna Rachelle (Parker) Tart and husband Dustin of Beech Bluff; one son, Daryl Lynn Parker of Buchanan; four grandchildren, Bradlee Lynn Parker, Eli Douglas Parker, Oliver Lane Tart and Vera-Kaye Louise Tart; and two brothers, Terry Daryl Parker and wife Karen of Newbern and Hugh Edward Parker and wife Donnie of Kenton.
