Mr. Rodrick Leon Provience, 83, of Cordova and formerly of Adamsville, Tn. passed away Monday, May 11, 2015, at Grace Health Care in Cordova.
Funeral services for Mr. Provience will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Friday at
First Baptist Church of Adamsville
. Brother Elmer D. Seaton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Old City of Adamsville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Friday.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Mr. Provience was born March 17, 1932, in Russellville, Al., son of the late Clarence Lee and Addie (Inman) Provience. His first wife was Helen (Thorne) Provience in 1950. After Mrs. Helen's death, he married Wilma Flatt (Morgan) Provience of Adamsville in 1988. Mr. Provience owned and operated Provience's Body Shop until his retirement in 2004. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Adamsville and was a volunteer fireman and member of the Jaycees.
He is survived by one son, Lanny Provience of Germantown; one daughter, Carla Lacher of Savannah; one step son, Joe Don Flatt of Stantonville, Tn.; two step daughters, Debbie Collum of Savannah, Tn. and Lisa Huggins of Stantonville, Tn.; one sister, Charlotte Rucker of Adamsville;10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, David Provience and one sister, Velera Glass.
