Robert Vancil's Obituary
Robert Steven Vancil, 66, of Union City passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016, at his home.
There will be no services. Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Robert was born July 21, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Robert and Norma (Zielke) Vancil. He was a retired physical education teacher and substance abuse counselor. Robert was very involved with Alcoholics Anonymous.
He is survived by one daughter, Kara Wenkel of Des Plaines, Illinois; and one granddaughter, Noelle Wenkel of Des Plaines, Illinois.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Trudy Little.
