Mr. Robert M. Thompson, 66, of Union City died 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at his home.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Mr. Thompson was born June 8, 1946, in Nebraska City, Nebraska, son of the late Russell L. and Esther E. (Hansen) Thompson. He was a retired electrical engineer for MCI and Pacific Edison and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Union City.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his brother, Russell Thompson of Union City and six children.
