Robert Edward Riddle, 54, of Samburg passed away 10:40 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eric Burress will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Davis, Larry Davis, Cody Quick, Jim Neely, Taylor Hopper and Raymond Whitehead.

Robert was born January 30, 1961, in Union City, son of the late Will Edd and Shirley Demetrice (Burress) Riddle. He married Jo Ann (Reed) Riddle July 7, 2007. She survives. Robert was a commercial fisherman and was of the Baptist faith.

He is also survived by one daughter, Stephenie Basham of Samburg; two sons, Brian (Shannon) Bartz and Dylan Riddle all of Samburg; one sister, Sandra (Jim) Neely of Samburg; two brothers, Jeff (Angela) Riddle of Hornbeak and William Riddle of Samburg; five grandchildren, Chance Basham, Brianna Bartz, Baylee Basham, Isabella Bartz and Reed Bartz all of Samburg; and several nieces and nephews.
