Mr. Robert Lincoln Reid, 78, of Union City passed away 5:00 a.m. Sunday, January 28, 2018, at his home.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

Robert was born February 13, 1939, in Weakley County, son of the late Herbert and Gertie Bell (Markle) Reid.  He married Jane (Pruitt) Reid May 22, 1960.  She survives.  He was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Union City.

He is also survived by one son, Bobby and Regina Reid of Union City; one daughter, Rhonda and Randy Kirkpatrick of Ripley, Tn.; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one sister, Hilda Riffe of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters; two step sisters and one step brother.
