Mr. Robert Dale "R.D." Coble, 79, of Union City passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Gardener will officiate. Burial will follow in Stanley's Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.

Robert was born May 4, 1947 in Obion County, son of the late Charlie and Flora Mae (Sook) Coble. He married Mary (Farrar) Coble November 14, 1967. She survives. Robert served in the United States Army and was a lifelong member of the VFW.

He is survived by one son, Charles Coble of Union City; one daughter, Nancy Coble of Hill, New Hampshire; two granddaughters, Amanda Cates and Brittany Hall; two great granddaughters; one sister, Debbie Lee of Chicago, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by four brothers, Bud Coble, Tom Coble, John Coble, and Danny Ray Coble; and three sisters, Helen Collard, Patsy Wise and Lena Blackburn.
