Robert Clemons' Obituary
Robert Everett Clemons, 73, of Union City passed away 6:22 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday at East View Cemetery. Brother Ron Gray will officiate.
Pallbearers will be employees of Reynolds Brothers Oil Company.
There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to First Church of God, 415 South Miles Avenue, Union City, Tennessee 38261 or Shriners Children's Hospital , 4400 Clayton Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63110.
Robert was born October 18, 1945, in Martin, son of the late John William and Bertha Myree (Perry) Clemons. He married Rita (Benton) Clemons May 21, 1966. She survives. Robert retired as a truck driver for Reynolds Brothers Oil Company after 45 years of service. He had been a Mason and a Shriner.
He is also survived by one daughter, Angie Clemons of Union City; and one sister, Mildred Ann White.
He was also preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Vance Clemons and Russell Bowden Clemons; and one brother, James Thomas Clemons.
