Robert Harold Brundige, 74, of Union City passed away 4:05 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2020, at AHC of Union City.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Brother Ron Gray will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Robert was born February 8, 1946, in Union City, son of the late Robert Carnell and Harriet (Russell) Brundige. He was a 1963 graduate of Obion County Central High School. Robert then went to work for South Central Bell in Memphis. He was then drafted during the Vietnam War where he served in the United States Marine Corps and received the National Defense medal and the Good Conduct medal. After service, he went back to work for South Central Bell in Ohio and was employed by Mid Continent Telephone Company in Ohio until becoming disabled. Robert was a member of First Baptist Church in Union City.
He is survived by two sisters, Ann Duren and Virginia Spence both of Kenton.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Herchenhahn and Mary Nell King.
