Rita Kay Brasure, 71, of Union City passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025, at her home.

Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Tony Keeton will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Rita was born August 4, 1953, in Tiptonville, daughter of the late Jack and Maybelle (Powers) Wilson. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Rita was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two sons, Jessie Brasure (Melissa) of Bells and James Brasure of Union City; two granddaughters, Brittney Brasure and Sky Brasure both of Dyersburg; two great grandchildren, Oliver Mallard and Owen Mallard both of Dyersburg; two sisters, Martha Jo Powers and Paula Covey (Ray) all of Union City; one brother, Mike Wilson (Sarah) of Oakton, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Belva Ann Jackson, Sue Wilson and Gaye White; and eight brothers, Don Ray Wilson, Harold Wilson, Earl Wilson, Gerald Wilson, Rob Wilson, Mark Wilson, Lynn Wilson and Charles Wilson.
