Mr. Ricky Lynn Brown, 70, of Paris and formerly of Union City passed away 9:26 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2023, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home.  Brother Steve Carr will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Brown, Sr., Ronnie Brown, Jr., Mitchel Maynard, Ricky Dean Brockwell, Jimmy Sutherland, Jr. and Vincent Younger.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Parkinson's Foundation.

Ricky was born May 15, 1953, in Fulton, Kentucky, son of Bob E. Brown of Fulton, Kentucky and the late Betty (Brockwell) Maynard.  He married Linda (Pruitt) Brown August 18, 1973.  She survives.  He worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for over 40 years.  Ricky was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church and loved hunting, fishing and golf.

He is also survived by one daughter, Shannon Carroll (Chad) of Mansfield; one son, Anthony Brown (Megan) of Maryville; four grandchildren, Cavan Carroll, Sophie Carroll and Cody Carroll all of Mansfield and Hunter Brown of Knoxville; three brothers, Ronnie Brown (Gail) of Buchanan, Keith Brown (Becky) of Columbus, Ohio and Tony Brown (Amy) of Rives; two sisters, Robin Nielsen (Tim) of Nashville and Lori Bledsoe of Nashville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Maynard; his stepfather, Billy Maynard; and his stepmother, Lois Brown.
