Richard Ragsdale, 53, of Union City passed away 3:23 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2022, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Richard's home. Stephen Sutton will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday.

Friends are asked to meet at the grave site for the service Friday.

Pallbearers will be Mike Arnett, Bobby Berner, Jeremy Seals, Keith Clouse, Michael McKinney, Joe Clanton and Trey Phipps.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard's cousins.

Richard was born September 13, 1968, in Union City, son of Jan (Kendall) Ragsdale of Union City and the late Ricky Lynn Ragsdale. He married Greta (O'Daniel) Ragsdale May 22, 1992. She survives. Richard was employed at Rough Country in Dyersburg and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is also survived by two sons, J.T. Ragsdale of Culleoka and Bruce Ragsdale of Union City; one sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Todd Phipps of Union City; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Brett Ragsdale of Memphis and Ty and Johnna Ragsdale of Troy; his mother-in-law, Sandra O'Daniel of Union City; his special niece, Rachael McKinney of Union City; and several other nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Troy O'Daniel.
