Richard Lawrence Franks, 29, of Obion passed away Sunday morning, August 27, 2023.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ron Gray will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Obion.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Franks, Timmy Powers, Kyle Franks, Travis MacKay, Donnie Ray Warren and Josh Flatt.

Richard was born August 17, 1994, in Dyersburg, son of the late Richard Lee Franks and Jennifer Lynn (Bailey) Franks of Obion. He worked for Tyson Foods Inc.

He is also survived by two daughters, London Starr Franks of Union City and Kenley Alise Franks of Troy; one brother, Dylan Franks of Troy; grandmother, Linda Bailey of Obion; one niece, Isabella Faye Franks of Obion; and his step father, Timothy Ferrell Powers of Obion.

He was also preceded in death by his infant sister and grandfather, Jerry Lynn Bailey.
