Mrs. Reva Mae (Flanagan) Boone Jeter, 90, of Union City, died 5:35 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee. Brother Jerry Leggett will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be family members.
She was born May 26, 1922, in Corinth, Mississippi, daughter of the late Charlie P. and Vivian (Putt) Flanagan. She married Marcus C. Boone, Jr. June 14, 1942 and he died November 25, 1963. She then married Alvin L. Jeter May 16, 1971 and he died March 17, 2008. She was a Human Service Counselor for the State of Tennessee for 14 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Taylor of Union City; her son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Pat Jeter of Ripley, Mississippi; five grandchildren and spouses, Christy and Craig Rich of Millington, Angie and Eddie Cash of Union City, Katie and Joseph Ramsey of Union City, Randy and Lisa Jeter of Ripley, Mississippi and Lisa Jeter of Ripley, Mississippi; ten great grandchildren, Mark Burnett of Memphis, Nicole Burnett of Melber, Ky., Janie Burchard of Melber, Ky., Cari Beth Cash of Union City, Brett Cash of Union City, Jay Ramsey of Union City, Katelyn Ramsey of Union City, Wyatt Rich of Millington, Riley Jeter of Ripley, Mississippi and Rob Jeter of Ripley, Mississippi and one great great grandchild, Bristol Burchard of Melber, Ky.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Farley and Mildred Flanagan.
