Regina Kay Maynard, 66, of Union City passed away 12:46 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2023, at Bells Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at East View Cemetery. Brother Ron Gray will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Kay was born May 16, 1957, in Union City, daughter of the late Bill and Mary Ruth (Dotson) Yates. She was the widow of Ronald Gene Maynard who preceded her in death January 9, 2014. Kay had been employed as a custodian at First Baptist Church in Union City and was of the Baptist faith. She loved animals especially cats.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay Dee Ann Molands and husband Jason of Jackson; two stepsons, Mitchell Maynard  and Brandon Maynard; and two grandchildren, Katie Beth Rudd and Jason Tyler Molands both of Jackson.
