Rebecca Alexander Barham, 87, of Union City passed away 9:50 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021, at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Pastor Justin Hiens will officiate.
Pallbearers will be John Barnes, Joseph Barnes, Sean Fegette and Fletcher Herlong.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Rebecca was born June 5, 1933, in Obion County, daughter of the late James Robert and Nora Hall (Rose) Alexander. She married Willie Maurice Barham April 14, 1951. He preceded her in death February 2, 2009. Rebecca retired from Dixie Gun Works as foreign purchasing agent after 36 years of service. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and the Trailblazers Sunday school class.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy Louise (Barham) Dodson and Russell Dodson of Alberdeen, Mississippi and Joyce Leigh (Barham) Nipp and Bob Nipp of Bartlett; one son and daughter-in-law, David Wayne and Rhonda Barham of Cordova; five grandchildren and the spouses of four, Nancy Jean and John Barnes of Drummonds, Joyce Ann Parker-Fegette and Sean Fegette of Munford, Becky (Nipp) Hicks and Bo Hicks of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Paul Nipp of Bellingham, Washington and Rae and Fletcher Herlong of Collierville; two step grandsons, Jonathan Kirby Parker of Nashville and Justin Kyle Parker of Newbern; eight great grandchildren, Elisabeth Barnes and Joseph Barnes both of Drummonds, Addison Bailey Clark of Collierville, Miabella Lynne Barham of Senoia, Georgia, Audrey Tallulah Hicks of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Benjamin Thomas Barham Herlong of Collierville and Nora Reese Fegette and Alexandra Rose Fegette both of Munford.
She was also preceded in death by one grandson, SSG Nolan Parks Barham; one sister, Ellen McAlister; and two brothers, James Alexander and Billie Alexander.
