Raymon Douglas, 73, of Union City went home to be with the Lord 2:30 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2022, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Terry Neil will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Honorary pallbearers will be Millard Hayes, Mickey Graham, Chris Smith, Rod Sharp and J.R. Hall.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Marsee Cemetery in Middlesboro, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Raymon was born November 9, 1948, in Union City, son of the late Paul and Mary Ethel (Gunnoe) Douglas. He married Phyllis Ann (Marsee) Douglas September 2, 1977. She preceded him in death December 12, 2015. Raymon retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 40 years of service. He spent his adult life serving the Lord. Raymon was a faithful member of Word of Life Fellowship in Union City. He had served as a church clerk, deacon and had been head of the bus ministry.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sherri Partin James and Steven James of Union City; his son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Angie Partin of Woodland Mills; four grandchildren, Avery Partin Seals and her husband Jackson Seals of Woodland Mills, Reed and Anna Hurst of Clarksville, Lane Partin of Woodland Mills and Ally James Montgomery and her husband Dylan Montgomery of Martin; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Ann Douglas of Union City; one sister, Deanna Turner of Union City; two brothers-in-law and their spouses, Phillip and Barbara Marsee and Richard and Dana Marsee all of Middlesboro, Kentucky; and his sister-in-law, Helen Marsee of Middlesboro, Kentucky.
