Obituary

Mr. William Ray Willcutt, 72, of Hornbeak died 4:30 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chris Aton will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Freddie Preuett, Steven Green, Bill King, Damon Barnes, Jimbo Whitsell and Bobby Faulkner.

Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons and members of the Obion County Rescue Squad and Crewettes.

Mr. Willcutt was born December 20, 1940, in Hardeman County, son of the late James Oliver and Ella Malinda (Meeks) Willcutt. He was a retired employee of the former Huey Brothers Lumber in Obion.

He is survived by his wife, Willie B. Willcutt of Hornbeak; three sons and daughters-in-law, Teddy and Michelle Willcutt of Union City, William and Teresa Willcutt of Dyersburg and Carl and Carol Haynes of Rives; six daughters and five sons-in-law, Sandy and Chuck Dailey of Troy, Vickie and Chris Aton of Geneva, Alabama, Debbie Bradshaw of Union City, Linda and Graydon Fields of Clarksville, Sue and Clyde Miller of Perryville, Missouri and Ginger and Tim Wills of McKenzie; three brothers; two sisters; twenty seven grandchildren; thirty eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ethma Willcutt; his daughter, Sherry Willcutt; two sons, Doug Haynes and Larry Haynes; one brother; and one sister.
