Randy Edward Smith, 66, of the Shawtown community passed away 12:10 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Samburg Pentecostal Church. Brother Julian Huey will officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Hornbeak.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Smith, Drake Smith, Blake Smith, Chase Ainsworth, Michael Pride and Kyle Homra.

Honorary pallbearers will be Vic Smith and Bobby Stockdale.

Visitation will be held at Samburg Pentecostal Church from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Randy was born October 14, 1955, in Livonia, Michigan, son of Juanita (McIntosh) Wolford of Plymouth, Michigan and the late Edward Junior Smith, Sr. He was a retired truck driver and had been a member of the former Glass Church of Jesus Christ.

He is survived by one daughter, Brandi "Sissy" Smith of Tiptonville; two sons, Jeremy Smith (Heidi) and Timbo Smith (Amanda) all of Samburg; two stepsons, Tim Armstrong (Crystal) of Weatherford, Texas and Glenn Webb of Union City; two half brothers, Eddie Smith of Bastrop, Louisiana and Brett Morris of Doyle, California; twelve grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Chandler Smith; and his half sister, Samantha Morris.
