Mr. Ralph Norman Gray, 65, of Troy died 9:49 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011, in the emergency room at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Cemetery in the Crystal community.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brad Davis, Russ Davis, Chad Gray, Doug Montgomery, Rich Montgomery, Lynn Jones and Clay York.
Honorary pallbearers will be Buck Pate, Vinson Thompson, Hollis Woody, Ray Swift and Gene Gurien.
Mr. Gray was born May 22, 1945, in Lake County, son of the late Luby and Ollie (Lee) Gray. He retired after 27 years of service as a wildlife manager for the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency and was a Vietnam Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife Lynette (Rustin) Gray, whom he married on January 18, 1970; his daughter and son-in-law, Lalania and John Hilliard of Dresden; his son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Stefanie Gray of Martin; five granddaughters, Mariah Adkins and Sommer Adkins both of Troy, Journey Adkins of Dresden, and Hope Gray and Hallie Gray both of Martin; five sisters; and three brothers.
He was preceded in death by one sister; and three brothers.
