Ralph "Pete" Ferrell, 74, of Martin passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday morning, January 9, 2023, at his home.

Memorial visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2023.

Pete was born January 7, 1949, in Harlan County, Kentucky, son of the late Oscar and Malvia (Collett) Ferrell. He married Linda Elizabeth (Vineyard) Ferrell September 16, 1972. She preceded him in death April 14, 2015. Pete retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company after 30 years of service and was a member of United Steel Workers Local 878.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mavri and Michael Worrell of Martin; his son, James T. Ferrell of Coral Springs, Florida; five sisters, Mary Lou Miller of Big Creek, Kentucky, Anna Sue Senters and Diane Johnson both of Pineville, Kentucky, Flo Ferrell of Flat Lick, Kentucky and Lucy Katherine Mason of Manchester, Kentucky; two brothers, Edd Ferrell (Teresa) of Martin and Dennis Ferrell (Cathey) of Lily, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Jacob Ferrell (Elizabeth) of Martin, Dakota Worrell (fiance' Cody Foust) of Sharon and Krissy Cranford (J.P.) of Hickman, Kentucky, Everest Ferrell and Asher Ferrell both of Coral Springs, Florida; and four great grandchildren, Avery Ferrell and Audrey Ferrell both of Martin and Coy Edmaiston and Wyatt Cranford both of Hickman, Kentucky.

He was also preceded in death by four sisters; and six brothers.
