Mr. Rafael Rico, 39, of Union City passed away 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Union City. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Chase Bowling, Sebastian Ramirez, Angel Guerrero, Arturo Guerrero, Victor Guerrero and Hector Rico.

Rafael was born January 29, 1980, in Orange County, California, son of Rafael and Maria (Montoya) Rico of Union City. He was of the Catholic faith.

He is also survived by his wife, Melissa Rico; three sisters, Jocelyn Rico of Mexico, Janine Rico of Tupelo, Mississippi and Johen Rico of Union City; and his grandparents, Sylvester and Lila Montoya of Mexico City, Mexico.
