Obituary

Mr. R. C. Crews, 85, of Union City passed away 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2022, at his home.

There will be no services at this time.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial to Second Baptist Church, 831 Everett Blvd, Union City, Tn. 38261

R.C. was born August 26, 1936, in Obion County, son of the late W.B. "Buddy" and Mary Hazel (Gray) Crews. He married Shirley D. (Prather) Crews September 21, 1955. She survives. He worked for the former Reelfoot Packing Company as a truck driver for 28 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 4862. R.C. was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.

He is also survived by one daughter, Pam Weatherly (Rabon) of Union City; one son, Kenny Crews (Tiffiny) of Union City; two grandsons, Jake Weatherly (Molly) of Halls and John Weatherly (Amanda) of Covington; one granddaughter, Katy Crews of Newbern; one great granddaughter, Madalynn Grace Weatherly of Halls; one great grandson, J.R. Weatherly of Halls; his aunt, Ruby Baker of Tiptonville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Crews and Jerry Crews.
