Ms. Priscilla Dean Adkins, 85, of Union City passed away 4:30 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Dwayne Uzzle will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Luke Griggs, Jimmy Ring, James Griggs, Lee McCord, Chad Clark and Jere Harrison.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Priscilla was born April 4, 1939, in Dyersburg, daughter of the late Richard and Willodean (Uselton) McGowan.  She was a homemaker and attended Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Rita McCord of Union City and Wanda Griggs (Luther) of Kenton; one son, Ricky Adkins of Mount Vernon, Illinois; two brothers, Jimmy McGowan of Union City and Frankie McGowan (Helen) of Troy; one sister, Patsy Vincent of South Fulton; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Rob Ring; one son, Randall Adkins; and three brothers, Doug McGowan, Ricky McGowan and Jerry McGowan.
