Phyllis Sue Holt, 71, of Rives passed away 5:30 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2023, at First Church of God in Union City. Brother Ron Gray will officiate. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin.

Visitation will be held at First Church of God from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Mark Hauhe, Parker Hauhe, Landon Hauhe, Jamie Owens, Levi Owens, Matthew Robinson and Donnie Bailey.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Phyllis was born January 1, 1952, in Blytheville, Arkansas, daughter of the late Jessie and Geraldine (Cross) Whitt. She married Wayne Holt July 18, 1986. He preceded her in death February 23, 2022. Phyllis had been employed as a nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital and the Doctors Clinic in Union City for many years. She was a member of First Church of God in Union City.

She is survived by her son, David Hauhe and wife Amy of Union City; her daughter, Sarah Palmore and husband Bob of Chapmansboro; five grandchildren, Ella Palmore and Haddie Palmore both of Chapmansboro, Mark Hauhe and wife Cassi of Gillespie, Illinois, Parker Hauhe and wife Amberley of Union City and Landon Hauhe of Union City; four great grandchildren, Rory Hauhe, Avery Hauhe and Everett Hauhe all of Gillespie, Illinois and Lily Renee Hauhe of Union City; two sisters, Betty Bailey and husband Donnie of Obion and Yvonne Council of Charleston, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Daniel Hauhe; one sister, Mary June Van Wagoner; and one brother, Randy Whitt.
