Phyllis Ann (Marsee) Douglas, 68, of Union City, passed away surrounded by her family 1:15 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Terry Neil and Rev. Joe Mercer will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Marsee Cemetery near Middlesboro, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held at Creech Funeral Home in Middlesboro from 12:00 p.m. until time to leave for the cemetery Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Maiden, Blake Marsee, David Smith, Reed Hurst and Lane Partin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Smith, Mickey Graham, Scott Madrey, David Kelly, William Wright and Ronnie Douglas.

Mrs. Douglas was born May 17, 1947, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, daughter of the late Sullivan Daniel and Mary Ann (Minton) Marsee. She married Raymon S. Douglas September 2, 1977. He survives. Phyllis was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Word of Life Fellowship near Union City where she served as church clerk. She worked with her daughter in the family business, Must Love Art, until the time of her illness and was an avid photographer.

She is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sherri (Partin) and Steven James of Union City; one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Angie Partin of Union City; four grandchildren, Avery Partin, Reed Hurst and Lane Partin all of Union City and Ally James of Lexington; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Floyd and Connie Marsee of Knoxville and Shelva and Helen Marsee, Phillip and Barbara Marsee and Richard and Dana Marsee all of Middlesboro, Kentucky; and several special nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Edna Marsee Maiden; and two brothers, Bob Marsee and Charles Marsee.
