Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Stanley Chapel Cemetery near Union City. Brother Danny Jones will officiate.

Ms. Howell was born March 14, 1940, in Murfreesboro, daughter of the late Thomas Gilbert Earp and the late Lydia Emma (Earp) Grinkle. She was a retired factory worker and a member of Westview Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Sue and Danny Jones of Union City; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry W. and Ernestine Earp of Murfreesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas G. Earp Jr.

The family will receive friends in the Rosewood Room at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.
