Mrs. Peggy Jean Cruce, 66, of Union City passed away 2:55 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Terry Council will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Tim Adams, Stacy Hutchison, Corey McDaniel, Tyler Debo, Richard Hamm and Kevin Christian.

Peggy was born March 15, 1952, in Union City, daughter of the late Cleveland Floyd and Joyce Juanita (Ferguson) Powell. She married Steve Cruce May 30, 1980. He survives. Peggy retired from the former Lennox Hearth Products in Union City after more than 30 years of service.

She is also survived by one daughter, Jamie Tidwell (Jason Wherry) of Union City; one son, Leslie Tidwell of Troy; one step daughter, Allison Cruce of Jackson; two sisters, LaDonna Slove (Tommy) of Troy and Kathie Mount (Jerry) of Dyersburg; eight grandchildren, Jesse Tidwell of Martin, Courtney Wherry, Tyler Debo, Corey McDaniel, Jadon Emery and Ashley Taylor all of Union City, Grace Ann Ray of Jackson and Krystal Wright of Kenton; three great grandchildren; and her best friend, Debbie Nichols of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Tracy McDaniel on December 27, 2016.
