Billy Joe "Pee Wee" Phipps, 62, of Union City passed away 9:45 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eddie Mallonee will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent to Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 831 Everett Blvd., Union City, Tn. 38261.
Pee Wee was born December 20, 1952, in Union City, son of Mary Nell (Gardiner) Phipps of Union City and the late Robert Louis "Bobby" Phipps. He had been employed at the former Shenanigan's in Union City.
He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Steven Hines of Paducah, Kentucky; his son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Jessica Phipps of Ripley; his sister, Jan Ogden of Union City; and seven granddaughters.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Mike Phipps.
