Paul Edward Kimble, Sr., 76, of Mason Hall passed away in his home surrounded by his family Tuesday, April 23, 2013, due to complications of end stage renal disease.
Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Mickey Hanks will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Friday.
He was born March 23, 1937, in Houston, Mississippi, son of the late John Henry and Altie (Austin) Kimble. Mr. Kimble came to Union City in 1969, where he was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber and remained there until he retired. He was a member of Goodyear retirees club "Romeo Club". Mr. Kimble was a hunting, automobile, and handgun enthusiast as well as a long standing member of the National Rifle Association and the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
Mr. Kimble is survived by wife of 54 yrs., Linda Farr Kimble, daughter, Terri Kimble Conover and her husband, Greg Conover, of Memphis, and two sons, the late Paul Edward (Eddie) Kimble, Jr. and Tony Kimble of Mason Hall, granddaughter Kristin Kimble Adams, her husband, Shane Adams, and great-grandson, Deacon Adams, all of Mason Hall; three brothers, Wayne Kimble, of Union City, TN., Robert Kimble of Waukegan, IL. and John A. Kimble of Lawrence, MA; a brother-in-law whom he considered a brother, John R. Woodruff of Houston, MS.; and two sisters, Linda Kimble Germano of Carlsbad, CA, and Elaine Kimble Keelen of Lexington, KY.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Jaynell Kimble Woodruff, Mirtice Kimble Headrick and Frances Kimble Ramsey.
