Mr. Paul Salbeda, 73, of Fulton, Kentucky died 10:55 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010, at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Eddie Mallonee will officiate. Cremation will follow.

Mr. Salbeda was born December 19, 1936, in Maui, Hawaii, son of the late Angel and Rosa (Gapol) Salbeda. He married the former Phyllis Garner on April 11, 1968. She survives. Mr. Salbeda was a retired metal fabricator for Supreme Fan Company in Banning, California, a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City, the Trail Blazer Sunday School Class and served in the United States Army.

He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Dan Christensen of Altaloma, California; his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Anna Salbeda of Tigard, Oregon; six grandchildren, Carissa Christensen, Aidan Christensen, Zoe Christensen and Malia Christensen all of Altaloma, California, and Kade Salbeda and Ian Salbeda both of Tigard, Oregon; his sister, Helen Maeda of Maui, Hawaii; and two brothers, Nat Salbeda of Honolulu, Hawaii and Albert Salbeda of Maui, Hawaii.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
