Mr. Paul Wilson "Speck" Riley, Sr., 83, of Union City passed away 7:39 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Diversicare of Martin.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chip Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Saturday.

Pallbearers will be Jason Montgomery, Craig Menees, Randy Wroten, Kevin McGowan, Clyde Riley and Jeff Franks.

Speck was born May 12, 1939, in Yorkville, son of the late Woodrow Wilson and Lovie Clyde (Parker) Riley. He married Mary Lee (Dublin) Riley July 7, 1961. She passed away July 14, 2012. He was the owner of R & S Garage in Union City and avid race car fan. He also served in the National Guard.

He is survived by one daughter and a son-in-law, Lisa and Jeff Franks of Union City; his son and daughter-in-law, Paul Riley Jr. and Sandra Riley of Union City; two brothers, N.D. Riley of Union City and Clyde Riley of Hickman, Kentucky; two sisters, Juanita Lewis of Blytheville, Arkansas and Frances Wroten of Union City; five grandchildren, Melissa Riley, Wendy Laird, Dustin Riley, LaCinda Franks and Macy McGowan, all of Union City; and six great grandchildren, Levi Temple, Landon Temple, Briley Temple, Michael Vonadua, Thorin Vonadua and Kaylee Menees all of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Regina Laird; and one brother, Abner Riley.
