James Paul Pryor, 71, of Union City passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, at Dyersburg Health & Rehab.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Lee Moses will officiate. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday, February 27, 2025.

Paul was born February 9, 1954, in Union City, son of the late Ralph Edward and Carolyn Ann (Ruble) Pryor. He was a 1972 graduate of Obion County Central High School. Paul was a substance abuse counselor and was a member of Berea Church of Christ.

He is survived by one sister, Betty Scott and husband Jerry of Troy; two brothers, Joe Pryor and wife Sonya of Union City and Sam Pryor and wife Connie of Derby, Kansas; his brother-in-law, Barry Webb of Ridgely; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Susan Pryor Webb.
