Mr. Paul Maddox, Jr., 78, of Union City passed away 2:45 p.m. Thursday, August 13 ,2020, at AHC Union City.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Mr. Maddox was born January 5, 1942, in Palestine, Arkansas, son of the late Paul Maddox, Sr. and the late Cora (Ferrell) Maddox. He married Marland (Buckner) Maddox January 11, 1964. She preceded him in death May 20, 2020. Paul had been employed in sales and management for nexAir Welding Supply for 40 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Union City.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Debbie Maddox and Shane and Rita Maddox all of Union City; two grandchildren and the spouse of one, Austin and Ashley Maddox and Rachel Maddox all of Union City; and two great grandchildren, Avery Nicole Maddox and Axel Lane Maddox both of Union City.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, William Glenn Maddox.
