James Paul Eaves, 56, of Union City passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at his home.

Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Ron Gray will officiate.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.

Paul was born September 5, 1967, in Union City, son of Edna Ann (Edmaiston) Eaves and the late Gaylon Gene Eaves. He had been employed at the former Lennox Hearth Products in Union City. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.

He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Eaves of Ripley; his son, Dakota Eaves of Union City; his mother, Edna Eaves of Union City; one granddaughter, Zoe Blake Eaves of Ripley; three brothers, Gaylon "Peanut" Eaves (Stephanie) and Mark Eaves (Susan) all of Union City and Wayne Eaves (Sandy) of Troy; and one sister, Misty Butler (Johnny) of Union City.
