Mrs. Patsy (Hammonds) Perryman, 85, of Union City passed away 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Second Baptist Church in Union City. Pastor Justin Hiens will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Second Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Leroy Segraves, Donald Dugger, Brad Moon, Bob Cooley, Wayne Akin, Maurice Carroll, James Bowling and Larry Doxey.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 831 N. Everett Blvd., Union City, Tennessee 38261 or Hometown Walk of Hope, P.O. Box 482, Union City, Tennessee 38281.
Mrs. Perryman was born July 30, 1930, in Gibson County, daughter of the late Herman and Myrtle (Norman) Hammonds. Patsy took great pride in caring for her family as a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening and all domestic chores. Patsy was a loyal member of Second Baptist Church and was a charter member from its inception in 1950. Faithful to God and her church she was a choir member for over 50 years. She is singing with the angels now.
Patsy was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 68 years, Leroy Manus Perryman; one infant son, Danny Perryman; and eleven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two sons and her daughter-in-law, Keith and Libby Perryman and Kimmy Perryman all of Nashville; two granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Michele Beam of Louisville, Kentucky and Melissa and Andrew Morgan of Dallas, Texas; and three great grandchildren, Tyler Beam, Jr. and Ellie Beam both of Louisville, Kentucky and Maddie Morgan of Dallas, Texas.
