Mrs. Patsy June Bryant, 76, of Union City died 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Union City Manor Nursing Home where she had been a patient since Monday.

The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday. There will be no funeral services.

Patsy was born June 20, 1935, in Obion County, daughter of the late Oren and Mary (Chumley) Ferrell. She married Johnnie R. Bryant on February 8, 1958. He survives. She retired after 23 years as a teller at Commercial Bank in Union City and was a member of Troy First Baptist Church.

She is also survived by her daughter, Susan Lawrence of Union City; her son, Robert Bryant of Union City; three sisters, Pamela Hudson and Donna Ferrell both of Memphis, and Kay White of Pensacola, Florida; her brother, Billy Ferrell of Memphis; four grandchildren, Jessica Sadler, Amber Bryant, Clint Bryant and Jake Lawrence, all of Union City; and five great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Sadler, Cameron Sadler, Avery Decker, Bailey Decker and Zachary Thomas, all of Union City.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and her sister.
